Welcome to the internet home of Hippiechick Beads...My name is Judy Blades and I'm a lampwork artist and jewelry designer. I'm also other things..ER Nurse and MOM to 17 year old daughter, and my greatest joy, Morgan.
I work out of a barn-turned-studio on my 10 acre ranchette in rural East Texas.
In addition to the AWESOME handmade glass, I also do the metalsmithing for my pieces.
My lampworked glass is all properly annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for long and happy bead life. I use sterling silver, Thai fine silver, copper, freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals in my creations.
This website stuff is new to me, really time consuming, and to be honest, I'd rather be BURNIN' GLASS !!
